Misensor has provided a standard fastener manufacturer with position detection solution for monitoring whether sliding table of a cold heading machine is normal or not when it is in place.

The client uses six-die six-punch forming cold heading machines as its production equipment to produce standard hardware fasteners. In the production process, the sliding table of the cold heading machines need to ensure high precision and stability under long-duration high-speed motion. After a long use of the cold heading machine punch, it would break down due to abrasion, breakage, etc. Thus, the sliding table would have problems of precision decline and abnormal positioning, resulting in defective products and increase of production costs. In order to help our client find the abnormalities of the equipment in time, Misensor has offered a kind of online monitoring solution for the sliding table to the client. We have installed a high-precision position sensor at the end of the sliding table motion, which can monitor the final position of the sliding table in real time online, and then the monitoring system can receive a feedback signal from it. So that the system would alarm and remind staff to stop and repair the machine in time to avoid producing more defective products when the sliding table is in place abnormally.
